Flashing Lights - Video EEG Day #1

Hey everyone! I'm awake... it's 9:14pm my time. Just finished my breathing and flashing light test for my video EEG (aka VEEG). Woah, did the breathing upset me more than I thought! The lights... well, not so much, surprisingly. I'm trying my best to have a seizure as soon as possible so I can just go home. I am not having much fun at all in this bed. I feel like my head is going to fall off as it is weighed down with wires and a battery pack. Not to mention that everywhere I go I am connected to a big long cord!

Looking and feeling miserable...
There's even a battery pack in my front pocket in which I cannot stand. So I'm being weighed down from the back and the front. (Note: Sorry for all the venting... but I just want to get out of here!) I really did enjoy my conversation with the tech putting on all my electrodes today. I might say, he did an excellent job and attaching them to my head without spilling anything into my eyes or poking me! Defiinitely better than past experiences.

There's a camera watching me at all times. I must admit, it's a bit creepy when it starts moving as I walk across the room. But the tech team is really cool and I'm glad that they can watch me and take care of me in the event of a seizure... which I have not yet had. But I'm trying!

There's the camera!
Well, that's all for now! Off to be sleep deprived due to my own insomnia! I'll keep you all updated with what's going on!
