Seizure First Aid Charts and Other Great Resources for People with Epilepsy

I came across this page, and I think that it's important that everyone takes a look at it quickly. There are tons of printable brochures that you can give to your child's teachers, instructors, managers, etc. And even if you're an adult, like myself, you can tape them up on the wall at work (Ex: Tonic Clonic Seizure First Aid Poster) in case you have a seizure and someone doesn't know what to do. It's a great way to get your Epilepsy "out there," and ensure that you're safe at all times.

When I say they have brochures for everything... I mean they literally have brochures for EVERYTHING! Everything from 'A Child's Guide to Seizure Disorders' to 'When Seizures Don't Look Like Seizures'! It's perfect to have around the house, to give to family, or just to keep for yourself.

Often children can't totally understand what is happening to their bodies, and there's even brochures to help your child better understand their Epilepsy. You don't have to print the brochures to view them either. You can simply e-mail the link and your friends, family, co-workers, etc. can watch it in slideshow format right from their computers. Save it as a picture file (PNG/JPG) and post it on Facebook for all your FB friends to see! It's easy to share, any way you'd like.

And for the spanish speakers, or my readers with families and friends who only speak spanish... They're ALL in spanish too! Click the link under the picture to go to the page!

I taped up the seizure first aid charts at work for my co-workers to see. In case I have a seizure that doesn't exactly look like the seizures shown in movies, they will now know what to do. I loved how the chart mentions that you don't always have to call 911 unless a person has a second seizure. There's nothing I hate more than an expensive hospital visit when a little Lorazepam could have fixed the whole issue. Thank God for these charts!

I hope you enjoy and if you have any other great links, e-mail them to me at MandyKrzywonski@Yahoo.com or leave them in the comments below!
