This EpilepsyBlogger MUST-READ Award badge goes to the following. Please read their blogs and you will see why they are all so special! They don't all blog about Epilepsy, but I find all of these people to be very special. These awards are in no particular order, and I love each blog equally!:
Angels4Epilepsy - http://www.angels4epilepsy.org/
Amazing little girls, with such big and brave hearts. Working through both of their illnesses to make a difference in the lives of sick children.
SERENE'S EPILEPSY LEGACY - http://epilepsylegacy.blogspot.com/
This woman is just absolutely awesome. She never fails to miss an important topic dealing with Epilepsy, and she writes articles fit for a magazine. Such a strong voice for those who have loved ones with Epilepsy, or deal with it themselves.
The Green Bathtub - http://alsonnichsen.blogspot.com/
If you want a refreshing blog that is different from all the rest, look no further. The Green Bathtub is sure to make you laugh, smile, or even cry; but nonetheless, you will enjoy A.L. Sonnichsen's articles. My favorite article so far is Truth Tuesday: Boogertoes. A funny but lovely story from a mother's point of view. You've got to love her Truth Tuesday's!
The Writing Room - http://catherineawinn.blogspot.com/
Although I don't always stop in to comment, I frequently read Catherine's blog. She is always doing reviews on books, and talking about her writing. She is very in to young adult/mystery books, and writing is her passion. You can tell by the way she talks about writing, that it is a huge part of her life.
Ann Best's Blog - https://annbestblog.wordpress.com/ or http://annbest-jen.blogspot.com/2011/07/to-write-or-not-to-write-second-memoir.html
Ann Best remains one of my most beloved bloggers. Not only because she supported me and guided me here and there in the very beginning, but she also wrote articles that hit very close to home. She writes, and she writes honestly. All of her posts come from the heart, and you can feel the emotion in the way she writes. When I heard about her disabled daughter, I immediately put the two of them in my heart and to this very day I still mention them in my daily prayers. God bless you both and I hope you are doing well :) Good luck with WordPress! I still can't figure WordPress out!
Keats the Sunshine Girl - http://keatsthesunshinegirl.blogspot.com/
Keats the Sunshine Girl is one of the most beautiful, breathtaking blogs you will ever read. Each post is filled with pictures from all over the world; Everything from artwork to exotic flowers and food! Keats the Sunshine Girl has taken me everywhere that I wish I could go, just by viewing her blog each week. I pray that she never stops writing!
I have just recently come across Bryan Farley, and he is just amazing. I posted a link above to my favorite article from his blog, which is about "coming out" with Epilepsy. It touched my heart because I felt a piece of myself within the words he was writing. His blog is about everything from photography, to being a father, to living with a disability. I've fallen in love with it in only a day, and I'm sure you all will too.
Jessica Keenan Smith: Living Well with Epilepsy - http://livingwellwithepilepsy.com/
Jessica Keenan Smith has the coolest Epilepsy Awareness blog. I have to say that she has outdone herself by far! I absolutely love her articles, and I love her willingness to help. She has promoted me a lot when I started out with my small charity, and I also have to thank her for that. Please check out her blog if you or someone you know has Epilepsy. It is amazing and full of hope!
To put this badge on your site, simply save it from my blog to your computer, and place it anywhere you'd like. Whether it be on your blog, or just somewhere on your computer to remind you of how awesome you are! God bless you all and keep on writing!
Yours truly,
Mandy Krzywonski
EpilepsyBlogger
Thanks for the links, Mandy! And thanks for stopping by today!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your prayers, Mandy! I remember finding you many months ago. You're a lovely young woman with a great deal of courage and stamina to deal with what you have to deal with. Because of your trials, you can empathize with others who struggle. You always reach out to others in love. You're awesome!
ReplyDeleteJen sends her love to you, too! And thanks for the links. I'll also go over to Facebook and Like EpilepsyBlogger. Hooray for all you're doing in the "social media" community.
p.s. WordPress really isn't that difficult. Come over and try to leave a comment. It can't hurt to try! This signature link will take you there.
Ann Best, Author of In the Memoir, A Memoir of Shattered Secrets
p.s. You've changed your blog since I was here. It looks stunning! Oh, and I see you already have my WordPress link above. I LOVE WordPress. It's so sleek looking and very flexible when you learn how to use it. I did have to hire someone (it was less than $100) to help me figure out the basics, and to get the Google Friend Connect up for me. But I won't abandon Blogger because I don't want to lose great friends like you!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mandy! I so appreciate this award. :) You are so sweet.
ReplyDeleteAmy
@Catherine: No problem at all! Enjoy the award and the best of luck with your awesome blog :)
ReplyDelete@Ann Best: You definitely deserve the title of a Must-Read! Thank you for all that you've done, whether it have been a pat on the back or tips for my blog! Give Jen a big hug for me, and congrats to your switch to WordPress. I might make the switch later on down the line once I get the hang of it. A lot of people I know are switching over. It's a bit complicated but apparently, my cousin Brandon is working with WordPress right now so I'm going to ask and see if he can help me out!
@A.L. Sonnichsen: You deserve it! One of a kind writer!
Great collection of links!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I do not deserve this award. It is too high an honour for me. So, on behalf of everyone who writes and blogs about epilepsy awareness, especially yourself, I accept it on their behalf. Anyone who sheds light about epilepsy is an epilepsy warrior.
ReplyDeleteYou have made a profound positive impact in my life with your active presence in your blog and the courage you have shown in overcoming all the odds and challenges that epilepsy and your other health conditions had dealt with you so far.
I am very proud of your epilepsy awareness work. As God's steward, you have been a great blessing to many people, known and unknown to you and for this, I am extremely thankful to have a soul friend and a sister in Christ in you.
May God makes his face shine upon you and His coutenance be on you always as you continue to walk with Him in faith, hope and love.
God bless.
