Day # 12

I would like to start this blog with apologizing for not making an entry yesterday. I was very exhausted and ill from my busy day. I spent the day being up and around, making breakfast, exercising, taking care of my newest pet, Rudy and spending time with relatives from Michigan. I was very stressed over a lot of things yesterday. Rudy, a 9 month old Australian Shepherd, was acting out of control all weekend long, which made it hard to get any rest. He wakes the entire household up at 5:30 sharp each morning by barking as loud as possible... As if he was being strangled or something. He has been with us for almost 4 weeks, but has not seemed to be taking to our training tactics. Also, I have also been stressed with school work, which I have mentioned in my prior blogs. I have been very sick this year compared to previous years. This means a lot of rescheduling home classes, along with many absences. It is near the end of our school year here in the U.S. and we have only two weeks left. I am 10 weeks behind in my Algebra 2 class so I don't have much time to get ahead.
Stress is just one of the worst things for an Epileptic. I can already feel
my seizures flaring up again, and they are happening very frequently since yesterday morning. I have had about 20 today and about 15 yesterday, give or take one or two. I keep my seizures tracked in this nifty little diary that came with the VNS DVD, which can be requested on their website or from your neurologist. Whether you want to do the VNS Therapy, I would still request the DVD so you can have the diary. Making one of your own is good too. A diary is essential if you have Epilepsy. It helps track the time of the day that you have most seizures, the type of seizures, and it will help show you what triggers them.

Buy YoungLiving oils and other products here!!!

I have been experimenting with different stress relievers such as stress balls, meditation, yoga, pilates, and aromatic oils and alternative medicinal therapy from Young Living. So far for me the Young Living oil "peace and calming" along with a lot of downtime has worked best. I strongly reccommend trying Young Living oils. Along side being on medication I have used these oils for the past two years as alternative treatments for other problems to keep from using too many medications on top of the ones I'm already on. These oils have worked wonders for my family and I. They are great for stomach issues (Di-Gize), hormonal problems (Clary Sage and Basil), headaches (Peppermint and Wintergreen are great for this!), joint pain (Wintergreen and Thieves), skin rashes (Lavender, Orange and Lemon), and many other things. They are pure, natural, and if you are willing to commit to using them daily, they will most definitely help with a variety of conditions.
This is all the news for today, and I will be posting again tomorrow!

Signing off,
Amanda Krzywonski
